My Pillow Pet Mini Review I don't really know where to start with this one. Pillow Pets are awesome. We'll start there. They come in tons of different animals. I bought the Magical Unicorn to try out and review. I thought it was cute on the website, but in person it was even cuter!!! I was totally blown over at how soft the fur was. So surprised in fact, that I've been caught relaxing on the Pillow Pet almost as often as the kids! This is, without question, the softest stuffed animal we own.
The kids totally love it and play with it often in "pet mode." One small issue I have with the Pillow Pets is that the Velcro strap has a small tab on it so you can cover up the hooks of the Velcro when you are using the Pillow Pet as a pillow. This is great in theory, but the fabric they use for this little protective tab can be tough to get back off the Velcro. Honestly – it's not a big deal. But it bothers me…and it bothers the kids. While Mommy fusses with the Velcro tab trying to turn the pillow back into a stuffed animal, they will sometimes play with something else. Eventually, they come back to play with their favorite Magical Unicorn friend, but it is something that Pillow Pets could work on. I am always skeptical about "As Seen on TV" products, but I have been won over by Pillow Pets. The product was well packaged and came out the box smelling fresh. It's super soft and comfy!! The best part is that they can be machine washed! I must admit that I kind of want one for myself. It is the perfect companion for long car rides. The kids just eat these things up! It's so cute when they give them names like Laura the Ladybug or Moe the Monkey.
